Greenon Local Schools hosted another memorable Veterans Day, welcoming more than 250 veterans from the community to honor their service and sacrifice. Each day of assemblies began with a breakfast from Greenon Local Schools and the Knights PTO, providing veterans an opportunity to connect with each other, students in the district, and the Greenon family.
Following breakfast, assemblies were held where students, staff, and administrators paid tribute to our veterans with speeches, patriotic performances, and expressions of gratitude. This annual event serves as a vital reminder of the sacrifices made by those who have served and highlights the district's commitment to honoring veterans. This is one of the many ways Greenon Local Schools aims to instill in students a sense of respect and appreciation for our military service members and their families.
