On Monday, December 18th, Greenon Local administrators and staff made this holiday season extra special by surprising district students with festive caroling at their doorsteps. Parents were given the opportunity to sign up for surprise visits from teachers, principals, and staff members to spread cheer directly to their homes!
The Greenon Local Transportation Department organized routes and bussed staff members around the district to sing carols and pass out candy canes to students. The students’ smiles were unforgettable. District parent Leigh Ann Nitchman said "This was awesome! What a fun surprise for the students. Thank you!" Another parent, Mindy Nickles, said, "So amazing! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My kiddos will remember this forever"
This heartwarming gesture emphasizes the community spirit within the Greenon Local community and brings an extra dose of cheer during this beautiful time of the year.
