In the fall of 2019, Mr. Jared Shore will be the Principal at Greenon Junior/Senior High School, while Mr. Adam Billet serves as Assistant Principal. Two Greenon administrators will move into new leadership roles at Greenon Junior/Senior High School for the 2019-2020 school years.
Assistant Principal Mr. Jared Shore will be the Principal of Greenon Junior/Senior High School beginning August 1, 2019, and Athletic Director Mr. Adam Billet will become the new Assistant Principal.
“Mr. Shore and Mr. Billet are proven leaders with a clear vision for the future of Greenon Junior/Senior High School,” said Superintendent Mr. Brad Silvus. “Their knowledge of instruction and curriculum, familiarity with our schools, and relationships with students, staff, and families, will be assets in their new roles.”
Greenon Junior/Senior High School Principal Mr. Tim Hale will retire effective August 30.
“We would like to thank Mr. Hale for his years of leadership and service to Greenon Schools,” said Mr. Silvus. “Having worked closely with Mr. Hale during his time as principal, Mr. Shore and Mr. Billet are well prepared to step into their new roles and build on the successes and strong foundation of Greenon Junior/Senior High School.”
The Board of Education approved the hiring of Mr. Shore and Mr. Billet, as well as Mr. Hale’s retirement, at a special meeting on June 25.
