Language Arts This week we celebrated the 100^th day of school! There were many projects that we shared that were so creative! We practiced counting to 100s by 5s, 10s, and 1s and did some jumping on two feet, jumping jacks, and we even were silent for 100 seconds. We wrote about what we could eat 100 of and what we could NOT eat 100 of. We also made a 100^th Day booklet. We did Centers this week while I met with reading groups. Everyone should have brought a book home to read this week. We continue to work on reading popcorn words and number words. We talked about Groundhog Day this week and learned some interesting facts about groundhogs.

Math Among all of our other 100^th day activities, we played a game this week called “Roll to 100” in which we guessed how many rolls it would take to get to 100. We also worked on making patterns.

News/Reminders Next Wednesday is PINK Day!! Great job on 100^th Day projects!! They were great!! Our Valentine party is next Friday, February 12^th.

*Box of 16 Crayola Crayons

*12-glue sticks

*1-Box of 10 Crayola Washable Markers (Classic colors, not BOLD)

*1-roll paper towels

*1 zippered pencil pouch with 3 holes punched in it

*1 box gallon sized Ziploc bags

*1 box quart-sized Ziploc bags

*1-large bottle of hand sanitizer

*1- spiral notebook, with the child's name on the cover

*1-standard sized book bag to carry daily with child’s name
