Kindergarten Registration Information

Will your child enter Greenon Local Schools as a Kindergarten student for the 2010-2011 school year?

If so, you will find a great deal of information on this page to help you as you begin your child's journey into the world of school!

•Registration will be held at both Enon Elementary School and Hustead Elementary School from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the school’s office, Monday – Friday, April 5 – April 16, 2010. Other times by appointment only.

Your child does not have to attend registration!

•

Bring with you…

•Proof of residency (utility bill, rental receipt/agreement, home contract, etc.)

•Child’s Birth Certificate – original from Health Department, not hospital record

•Child’s current immunization (shot) record

•Any custody papers, if applicable

During registration, you will be asked to complete some forms. To save time, you can print the forms from this page and bring them to registration already completed. Please just complete the forms that are applicable to your situation.

New Student Registration and Emergency Medical form (both sides need to be completed for all students)

Transportation Information form (needs to be completed for all students, regardless of transportation method)

Oath of Residency form (only required for those who are "living in" with relatives or other friends/family --must be notarized)

After you have registered your child, you will need to contact Mrs. Carol Mathews, Hustead secretary, at 328-5360 in order to schedule an appointment for your child’s mandatory Kindergarten Screening.
